I think it is more complex than one could think. As Mark already said: where is it going back to? Even the slightest move of a single fader is already a new state. But not necessarily a relevant one. So the first step should be to decide which change is relevant and which one isn’t. Is a new fader position relevant? It can be in the case of feedback, but this is not always the case. A changed EQ setting perhaps? And how significant should this adjustment be to define it as a new state?

2019/08/21 at 9:03 pm #85970Hi Barryjam,
No, that is not how it works. I couldn’t find an official A&H video on this on YouTube, but this video demonstrates how things work: https://youtu.be/FDcoTE5NM40.
In the video the local inputs are used, however: with the additional SQ card a stage box can be used.
Best regards,
Jeroen2019/08/20 at 9:31 pm #85951Yes you can, but why would you loose half of the inputs? The signal is split pre processing and you can assign all 48 inputs to any of the channels on both consoles via the I/O screen and process the signal on each SQ. in this case gain levels are set on the SQ5, you can trim the signal on the SQ7 though.
2019/08/20 at 3:17 pm #85945Why don’t you use an AR 84 connected to an AR2412 and use the local inputs on your SQ5 to create 48 inputs on stage?
And of course you need an Slink card to connect to the SQ7/FOH console.2019/08/07 at 8:41 pm #85741Hi Wab,
Just to be sure: have you checked on the strip assign page wether you have accidentally assigned the same input channels to layer A and E and B and F? Or are there other Ip numbers/input names visible?
And have you checked on the I/O page weather you have patched all input channels from the right input sockets (local, Slink and I/O port (for your Dante card)) and didn’t accidentally overwrite already assigned input channels from previous tabs? Each Ip can be assigned only once (I made that mistake myself in the heat of the moment once).Best regards,
Jeroen
2019/08/02 at 2:04 pm #85641That’s good news, thanks for confirming Keith.
2019/08/02 at 12:32 pm #85639It is almost one year ago that participant titoen asked whether it was possible to connect two AR2412 boxes to a single SQ console by using two CAT cables and the additional SQ Slink card (and of course taking the processing limitations of the SQ in mind). I have not been able to find the answer here on the forum.
As I prefer to have two AR2412 stage boxes in stock instead of an AR2412 and for instance an AB168 (as two AR2412 boxes would provide more opportunities for renting out), I was wondering whether anyone of you has ever tried this set up and/or if any member of the A&H staff can advice.
Best regards,
Jeroen
2019/06/17 at 2:41 pm #84647That would be great.
2019/06/12 at 7:40 pm #84560Too complex for me on larger productions. In the old days I used to take my 01v96 with me, which had a delay time of nearly one second on individual channels. That set the standard for me.
2019/06/12 at 8:13 am #84550Hi Ethix, thanks for this suggestion. However: for this production we used all the busses that were available (fx, monitors and some groups/lines for multitrack audio recording (for the video registration), so I had to send the video playback directly to the main mix.
2019/06/01 at 9:11 pm #84233I don’t support the idea of colour changes of the light bar as this will be very disturbing for people surrounding the FOH position in a (dark) theatre.
2019/03/27 at 4:16 pm #83010If implemented please make this optional as I expect that people surrounding me in a theatre might find these colour changes disturbing.
2019/03/18 at 3:14 pm #82781Hi Localradio,
Did you review the setup and can you share your observations/conclusions?
