It’s possible to change the label of the scene-save slot without actually saving the scene settings to that slot… (bit of a bad user interface, IMO). They’re two completely separate actions, and I’ve labeled the slot without saving the scene more than once.

Yes, changes to the name and the recall filters are immediate and don’t require a definite save, which is confusing.

Oh – is there some sort of document I can look at that might answer my questions. The videos are nice, but they do not cover the basics very well.

There is a “screen reference guide” that adds a lot more detail on top of the original manual: https://www.allen-heath.com/uk/Products/Pages/ProductDetails.aspx?CatId=GLDSeries&ProductId=GLD80&SubCatId=

That would be nice. Other desks I’ve seen latch on and off if you tap the button but switch off on release if you hold it down for a period of time.

I’m setting up a system which may be used by users of our building. I’ve got a guest user that has a scene assigned that just enables a CD player and a couple of radio mics and has nothing else on the control surface.

That scene has been saved with no phantom power enabled on any channels, but there’s a good chance that any scene that is being overwritten when that one is recalled will have phantom power switched on on some channels.

    Cheers,

If they’re now available, does anybody know where one can be bought from in the UK?

    cheers,
