    Hi Tor,

I have to be honest and say that your statement about Digico consoles scares me quite a bit. Having mixed on just about all consoles in the market, I find hard to believe that any of today’s consoles sound “terrible”, even Yamahas, :-).

But to answer your question, Midas Pro2 series also offers 2 solo busses.

    take care

I have to read up a little, but sounds like you need to use Direct outs of the channels that are on your surface. Try that and see if that works

If you are set in the M7, than you can use Dante, but you would need 3 Dante cards on the M7 to get all the Dante channels. It may be price prohibited.
If you go for the CL3 or CL5, it uses Dante natively and all you would need would be the Dante card on the iDr rack.
GLD-112 may be a great option. Specially if you are using Aviom or plan on getting a ME system. It would also be a cheaper option and the OS is similar enough to iLive that volunteers wouldnt be too scared.

    My 2 cents

Every manufacturer and sometimes reseller will make statements like that to cover any potential issues with thevuse of the product. That way if someone uses the wrong cables or cables that have not been tested, they can claim the product used wasnt approved my the manufacturer. In theory, if a product is spec’ed to use Cat5e or Cat6, it should work with any cable out in the market as long as it follows the Cat standards.
I have iLive systems installed with Home Depot cat5e and working just fine. However that was not by choice. I always go for quality wire from a reputable manufacturer and always recommend the same to others.
