I edited nano etc/network/interfaces
Made it static and added
Address 192.168.1.3
Netmask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.254
But this made no difference
When I went back to this file the whole page appeared to be empty and it said new file at the bottom.
I’m not in any way familiar with Ubuntu so I have no idea how to check if what I entered is now gone and I should enter it again.
I’ve managed to log in and get access to the command prompt but how to I tell it what address it should be on?
I tried adding the network information in etc/network/interfaces but this made not difference.
I added the ip, sub net and gateway but this made no difference
As A&H no longer support the iLive does anyone know anyone with the capability to programme the touch screen SBC?
Thank you! Do you know where I can purchase one?
Mine is the second one in your pdf: Fujitsu SBC – 004-111 – AE8214
Anyone got any tricks to get an SBC to boot? There is 24v at the power connector but the thing will not fire up. I’m guessing the thing is fried but any hints or tips?
Hi Yann
Thanks for your post.
Do you have the model number for the SBC? Mine appears to be a Fujitsu product but I cannot find a model number on it.
Kind regards
Hi Mark, it’s not the touchscreen it’s the computer (SBC) that runs the touchscreen that is the issue and therefore not controllable via a monitor and keyboard.
The surface and rack work as they should.
Did you ever find the cause / solution to this dropping connection issue?
I have a similar issue which I’m confident is ip address related but any other info would be great
It looks like it may have been an ip clash on the pc connected to the system. Has been fine since I set the ip on that pc to 192.168.1.10

This sorted it! Having worked with computers for about 15 years I can’t believe I didn’t come to that conclusion myself!
Ok cool, the ip’s are all the factory settings but I’ll certainly give that a go and report back
Struggling to upload photo will keep trying
Resetting the mix-rack via the internal dip switches followed by another reset of the network settings has resolved the issue!
Hi Mark I haven’t tried another cat5 but I have tried all the other things and nothing is allowing me to ‘see’ the mix rack.
Any update for this bug?
It’s all very well discontinuing the iLive but the last software release for it needs to at least function correctly!
