I’m hoping this is something that can be added in update soon. Coming from XR18 and a core feature of a digital mixer imo.

    +1
the competitors have these in similar and lower price brackets, features should be competitor competitive not product series competitive.
channels and I/O should be patchable.

Love my CQ20b but simple things that are common on other competitors are missing

yes the routing matrix would be really useful

    1) repatch the output from the usb or SD to different channels
    2) move one input to another channel during live
    3) use the output aux jack to get signal from other sources like: -> get main l/r, duplicate the phone output to an aux, etc, temporarily patch an aux from another source (I use in ear monitors and I also make sound and during soundcheck I usually switch on the behringer my aux to the main l/r or to the monitor bus)

I have added my “vote” to other posts with individual requests for each the items in DJAA’s list above. Holding back on these fundamental features incorporated into digital mixers a decade ago leave me scratching my head a bit.
Yamaha (most expensive), Mackie, Behringer and QSC all have these features in similar price-points and form factors.

Love the mixer, still learning – I am pretty confident we will see this worked out soon.

Please A&H! (And thank you) 😀

There are always initial design decisions made that will affect the operational options that are available with each specific line within the brand. The SQ has a 36 bus design with a 48 channel input capacity. The Avantis has a 42 bus & 64 channel input capacity.

    At this point gathering an understanding of the importance of the initial XCIV core size in the FPGA processor is essential to comprehend the various limitations of each specific line within the A&H brand. There is a direct control of operational options with the Buss size and Bus speed inherent with each model within the line;
    1) Bus size (also known as Width) determines how much data can be transferred at one time
    2) Bus speed, determines the time required for data transfer between RAM & the PROCESSOR. However it does not affect
the the total amount of Ram that can be installed or the amount of data that can be installed.

While the D-Live Bus & Input capacity is much greater than the Avantis, The CQ’s is substantially smaller than the SQ’s. and herein is the design limitation that was intentionally developed within the various models the Brand offers. The CQ is A&H’s entry level line and it certainly is priced accordingly: with features that provide “start up help” for various SR chores that novice operators often struggle with.
To the OP’s point, authoritative explanations may or may not ever be made available from A&H employees however the well known hardware limitations obviously were intended to eliminate expanding the basic SR chores that the CQ can do very well.
Bottom line is, to buy the gear that offers the features you need for your work flow. Random purchases made with out a clear understanding of their limitations is fools gold.

Ми прекрасно розуміємо ,що лінійка CQ це не Avantis ,але хочаб у серії CQ були б такі елементарні речі як у midas mr 18 ,I soundcraft ui24r.
