Yes I knew that you could store scenes with different input sources and keep all the channels safe but didn’t think of it either!

Loving how configurable the QU-PAC is!

Just spoken to someone at Tech Support and he suggested saving two scenes and assigning them to the soft keys. That way you press one button for recording and one for playback.

Just tried it and yes it’s pretty quick. Would still quite like to be able to assign this to a soft key if possible as I will be using the QU-PAC for location recording’s aswell as live PA.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there an easier way to do this? Is it possible to assign this to a soft key and literally press the soft key to switch between usb?

Either of those would be amazing to have but not sure how much DSP space is left for additional fx in the QU mixers? I notice that the cheaper Behringer X32, X-Air and Soundcraft UI series have de-essers. A multi and compressor maybe expecting too much at this price point as I’m not aware of any of the other brands having this feature at this price point. Would be amazing to have one though! Also, an expander could be useful.

Yes this would be very welcome. I’m not keen on the little red dots either and feel the RTA could do with better visual indication.

Yep all controls for fx parameters are there now and they work great!

That’s excellent news as at a venue I run sound for only two out of the ten regular musicians have iPhones. Also, only one out of my four work colleagues has an iPhone so the new Android version of QU-YOU will be extremely welcome!

Thanks for the reply. Yes I agree it would be more useful for the wheels to have custom colours. Even if it is the light green border that can be changed that would be helpful.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the QU-PAC. Yes the new 1.7 update has made a big difference!
If I end up changing to the QU-PAC would it fit one of these rack cases?

I’d love to see and Android version of the QU-YOU app as most of the musicians I’ve run sound for have Android phones. Very few of them have iPhones.

I’m interested in the QU-PAC aswell. I already own a QU16 which I love and with the latest firmware update the iPad app has really moved forward in terms of features.
However, some of the gigs I do have extremely small stages and floor space is really tight. My QU16 has narrowly escaped being stepped on a few times. Also, when my small van is fully loaded I can’t fit the QU16 in the back so it takes up the front passenger seat which isn’t ideal.
At the moment I’m mainly using the iPad app. The faders tend to only get used by musicians who like to go up to the desk and mix their individual IEM mixes. I also use the QU16 for occasional location classical recordings and having faders for this job are extremely quick and efficient to adjust mixes in the studio monitors.
I would need to sell the QU16 to fund the QU-PAC and I’m a little nervous with going faderless! Would the QU-PAC fit a rack bag? It would also be useful for the QU-PAC to have a wireless dongle for some of the small acoustic gigs I provide pa for. These gigs tend to be in very small venues with audiences of around 30-40 people and I would hope that a wifi dongle would be adequate and less clumsy on stage for these type of gigs?

I just noticed that the GLD Remote app has customizable channel colours and am wondering if it would be easy to implement the same option on the QU-PAD app? The ideal place to put this would be in the Channel Name section within the individual channel tab? Also it would be nice to have a couple extra characters for the channel name’s. I would find eight more useful than six.
