+1 for this
2021/02/12 at 12:57 pm #98842Thanks. Yes I have MixPad already which does allow up to 32 channels but the workflow isn’t as quick and intuitive. Also I really find the GUI much harder to read.
2018/10/26 at 8:10 pm #79563Just downloaded this app and am very impressed from first impressions! Looks like it has an offline editor!?? From my very short time with it my thoughts are :-
Plus
1/ Offline Editor!?
2/ Customisable channel strip colours
3/ Customisable layout
4/ Longer faders easier to adjust
5/ Meter bridge
6/ Pop up panning slider easier to adjustCons
1/ FX processors use the same GUI for all the different processors instead of the different corresponding A&H GUI’s which can make it hard to tell which processor you’re you’re using or editing.
2/ The A&H QU-Pad app bares a much stronger resemblance to the layout of the actual mixers and is more intuitive to use
3/ HPF isn’t as obvious if it’s turned on or off
4/ Colour schemes make some text harder to read
5/ Mute button enable a little confusing at firstIdeally I’d love to see my plus points end up in the A&H QU-Pad app in a v2.0 update.
2018/02/24 at 7:34 pm #69161Yes I’d love to see a version 2.0 with the remaining requests added. However, the QU-PAD is already quite a comprehensive app that has a very quick workflow. Some of the newer products have more features (particularly the new Soundcraft UI24R) and I feel Allen & Heath need to do a bit of catching up. However, I would expect they are putting all their focus into getting the SQ-MixPad fully functional as its missing a LOT of its features or into developing new products!?
I would personally love one of the SQ mixers in a QU-PAC format. Maybe we’ll see an SQ-PAC in the future!?2018/01/12 at 3:17 pm #68154Thanks A&H for adding Spectrogram to QU-PAD app. Will be trying it out in a couple of hours 🙂
2018/01/12 at 1:10 pm #68145Great. Got the new update. Happy days 🙂
2018/01/12 at 12:19 pm #68138Yes I thought we need to wait for the Qu-Pad app to be updated to v1.93. However, on the A&H video announcing the firmware update to v1.93 they show the spectrogram working on the QU-PAD app which is a confusing.
2018/01/12 at 11:30 am #68129Hi Keith,
I’ve just updated the firmware on the QU-PAD to V1.93 and the QU-Pad app to Qu-Pad to the latest version but can’t see the spectrogram on the QU-PAD app?
2017/12/29 at 2:39 pm #67197Oops sorry!
2017/12/29 at 10:38 am #67194True but I work 100% from the iPad so would prefer having this feature on the QU-Pad app.
I also love the addition of the mini meter bridge on the SQ MixPad and would love to see this implemented on the QU-Pad app.2017/12/28 at 2:13 pm #67177I’ve just been demoing the SQ-MixPad app and really love the feature of being able to drag the centre section up and down to increase the length of the faders or extend the processing view! The way this has been implemented is really well thought out.
Please can we have this added to the Qu-Pad app!?2017/10/30 at 8:51 pm #65995I read on a post on A&H’s SQ mixer announcement over at Facebook the QU range is still under development and there is a new update coming!
Things I’d love to see are :-
-Spectrograph of QU-PAD
-RTA overlaid on PEQ + GEQ
-DeEsser
-Customisable channel coloursThe RTA overlaid on the EQ pages is top of my list of things I’d love to see on the QU range. Also it makes sense to have Spectrograph on QU-PAD for people using QU-SB and QU-PAC mixers. Any of the other features would be a welcome addition.
2017/09/19 at 6:55 pm #65340According to the pinned topic on the top of this forum they have been tested to be compatible with IOS 11
2017/09/14 at 1:15 pm #65257Thank you!
2017/09/14 at 12:16 pm #65254I’d like the Spectrograph on the iPad app aswell. Seems odd that that Allen & Heath state the QU-SB has the Spectrograph feature on the product page but it’s not actually in the Qu-Pad app!?
