    Hi,

Probably the easiest workaround is to just bring the DCA faders down but not mute them. This will stop the channels coming out of FOH but they will still be sent to pre-fade auxes.

Its probably the DHCP setting for IP address in networking config. Try disabling that and giving it a fixed IP, if it can’t find a DHCP server it will basically hang for quite a while until it times out.

That said, I have noticed the boot times on 1.3 are quite a bit higher than the old versions.

I believe this isn’t possible currently but would be a massive feature request from us. We have 2 GLDs in our church and I don’t really want operators loading show files, but would like them to be able to setup scenes in the editor or on other desks.

Perhaps you should move this to the feature request forum.

Yeah, thats a great idea. I posted something similar here in the GLD forum: https://community.allen-heath.com/forums/topic/2013-06-13-103405. If we had a PC/Mac based editor, it would be really helpful if the GLD somehow bridged the connection from the ethernet port onto the monitor network so we can use the same PC for GLD & ME at the same time.

You are probably already aware of this, but if you knew in advance what the configuration would be for each band, you could store these in the ME-1 as presets. The drummer could easily recall these presets himself.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks Jeff,

I did know this, I’m still getting used to using digital week-in-week-out, I’ve only done single events before so didn’t worry about things like presets. I have started building them up on the mixer and will start building them on the ME.
