My work around for now is to use a dual boot with an older version of mac os, I just went with catalina. When I need to use editor I can just restart and boot into catalina.

I should have been more specific, I cont get it to connect when using online with a mix rack and surface. in offline mode I can “connect” but then it crashes after a few seconds.

Im also having this issue, although I cont get it to connect in the first place, it will load to about 10 to 12 percent and then says network connection lost. Im also in mac os 12.4

I hadn’t thought of that. I thought the connections to the idr were supposed to be limited to computers that needed a editor connection to the idr. The network the server is on is the main facility network with hundreds of computers and printers etc, etc. Is putting the idr on a large network like that a bad idea?

This worked on my late 2012 mac mini just updated to el capitan,at least offline, no live system in my living room at the moment so I can’t try online.

Thats why I haven’t upgraded my main mac, just my mac mini hooked to my tv.

I just tried it, it keeps telling me I need to install java even though I already installed java. I even tried an older version of java. So no go at this point.
I hope this is fixed soon so I can upgrade all my macs to Yosemite.

the ips were not the default including the mix rack gateway, I reset them and now all is good.
