Thanks for the reply. Really helpful.
I use the QU16 for my 2-3 bands (I play keys and do sound) and I save scenes for the different line ups and venues.
I assumed the current scene is highlighted at all times then you scroll through and select another, simple as that.
So would I be right in saying that the mixer doesn’t show you in the scene list what scene you’re currently using when you power up but all the settings remain from the power down scene.I think I get it now. I don’t switch scenes during the gig.
It makes more sense if you use numerous scenes during a musical, panto or similar show.

Mixing Station would have been fine but there’s not a lot of user feedback about and QU-Pad probably does more.
Can also load my iPod filler music onto the iPad for wireless operation using Airplay which means one less thing to plug in.

Apple aside, the Samsung Tab A looks good value and I think I’d make more use of it being an Android user.
Also thinking that maybe Qu-Pad will eventually become available for Android too.2016/02/25 at 12:36 pm #54224DanrParticipantYes, have seen quite a few damaged or marked 2nd generation ones. I think these have AirPlay feature so worth considering.
A lot cheaper than a new Air 1 or 2.
Thanks.2016/02/25 at 11:48 am #54221DanrParticipantBoth arrangements would be nice depending on the gig as there’s not always room or it’s not convenient for a mixing desk out front.
We don’t have a soundman but someone will be helping us out for some theatre gigs and ideally I’d like to get sorted with an Ipad/Android
tablet.
Looking at the Qu-Pad app screenshots, the EQ is available on the main fader screen which is useful but don’t think it is on the Mixing Station QU.
Agree that AirPlay would be a nice feature.2016/02/25 at 12:24 am #54213DanrParticipantThanks for the reply.
Yes, mixing on the mixer itself is preferable but app & wifi I think will be cheaper than a A&H digital stage box.2016/02/21 at 8:10 pm #54107DanrParticipantIt worked after I reformatted the drive.

Sounds like it should work ok with a little setting up and it’s a fair bit cheaper than a Mac. -
