    Hello to everyone.
I am new user of the QU-16 , I wonder how can hear through the earphones
the selected or selected tracks with the effects applied , not dry.

    Thank you!

Would have to get mine out to check but I thought there was an option on PAFL for additive. If do you could select the FX return plus your channel. Of course you’ll get others that are in the return. Will check when I can.

    Setup>Audio>PAFL. Click Additive on.
Try soloing your desired channel. Go to master layer and solo the FX return. Little cumbersome but should do what you want. Other channels that are feeding that FX will be heard in the effect.

You either need to insert the FX (at which point there is no dry signal any more) or PAFL both the Dry and Wet as GCumbee says.

Pardon my ignorance. I know what PFL & AFL mean, but can someone tell me what PAFL means in these mixers?

Also, it is possible to hear the entire mix through the headphone jack, correct?
Little concerned after reading this post. Haven’t bought mine just yet.

Its named PAFL since the mode may be switch between Pre- and After-Fader-Listen and I guess printing P-or-A-FL or P/AFL on the desk does not make it better.
Its described in more detailin The Manual on Page 22.
And, yes, headphone defaults to LR if nothing is PAFL’d.

Hi Andreas. I thought that it stood for P-or-A-FL.

I did check the manual first, but it only showed ‘PAFL’ but didn’t describe what it meant. It does explain AFL more thoroughly though.

    Thanks.

Main to PAFL can be turned on or off, so there can be a silence in HP when nothing is PAFLed.

Useful if you are running a local speaker as pafl off the alt-out outputs
