I’ve been trying out the MixPad iPad app and am considering upgrading our church’s sound system from Soundcraft to an A&H SQ. So far the app seems a lot more feature-rich and useful than Soundcraft’s. One question: Can I store/recall scenes from the iPad in real-time when in online mode? The app explicitly mentions support for scene management in offline mode, and I’ve been impressed after playing around with it in offline mode. I’m wondering if it can be used for scene management in online mode when connected to a real console, allowing me to remotely advance through the scenes when I’m walking around FOH.
