Mixpad FX channels greyed out

I have been trying to setup my FX5 and 6 and control them on my iPad mixpad app we use for our stream. We started out with FX5 and found we needed more effects so we tried to add FX6 but we can’t seem to control the fader for that FX channel. It is greyed out and on our sq6 I can’t place the channel in the surface to control it that way either. Somehow I got it to work to control fx5 and FX6 worked on one scene but I need it to work for all of them.

Would it have to do anything with permissions?

I don’t think so… did you loaded an FX to the slot already?
Is it set to insert? that could be the problem… you have to set it to Mix>Return first…
and don’t forget to hit “Apply” 😉

Yes I loaded and set it to mix->return and applied it.

Hi vicsound,
It should work as steffen described it…if not, you could go to that scene where you got it to work and set a global filter, so that FX patching is blocked.
