Similar story bought my Air 2 to use with the iLive which is about all it is good for, wished I had waited for a decent Windows tablet. It upgraded to OS9 and now can not even load the the demo of mix pad it just crashes back to the desktop as others report.
Think there could be a 128gb Air 2 on e bay soon, bag of spanners.2015/09/27 at 6:02 pm #50892jb12stringParticipantMaybe Nicola will chime in in the morning with some good news for us (crosses fingers)
2015/09/28 at 12:38 pm #50897jb12stringParticipantI was able to roll my iOS back to 8.4.1 last night. Probably should have deleted the newer backups, then I might have been to save myself some trouble having to start from scratch, but it is what it is. Here are the two websites I used:
Downgrade iOS 9, 9.0.2, 9.0.1 To iOS 8.4.1, Here’s How [Guide]
Download iOS 8.4.1 Final For iPhone, iPad, iPod touch [IPSW Links]

2015/09/28 at 1:59 pm #50899jb12stringParticipantAny chance one of the members here from the UK can call Allen and Heath headquarters and try to shake something loose, preferably a solution, but an update about the status would be a start.
2015/09/28 at 9:55 pm #50912andyParticipantI’ve drawn a blank trying to rollback to ios8. I’ve downloaded a copy of it but when I go to iTunes and hit restore, it only takes me to iOS 9 and there’s no option to select the file I downloaded.
Anyone else having difficulty?
2015/09/29 at 12:10 am #50914jb12stringParticipantIf you are on Windows, hold the left shift key and click restore. Should open a window to where you can navigate to where the ipsw file is located. For a Mac, I think you hold the control key maybe. See the link for instructions in my post a few posts up
2015/09/29 at 4:14 am #50917dpnhParticipantDon’t call A&H but maybe Audiotonix. The whole story:
PS I’m quite disappointed from the support team in this regards.
2015/09/29 at 5:00 am #50918jb12stringParticipantI doubt anyone at Audiotonix would have anything useful, but I could be wrong.
2015/09/29 at 8:53 am #50920dpnhParticipantNo, you’re not wrong… Unfortunately!
2015/09/29 at 5:32 pm #50937andyParticipantI’ve finally managed to downgrade to ios8 and mixpad is now working fine, in demo mode at least.
big thanks to the guys that posted the links earlier in the thread, i’d suggest everyone else does it asap before apply stop signing.
2015/09/29 at 9:18 pm #50940Genesis ServicesParticipantpeople, i just heard from my dealer in holland that an update for mixed is allready at apple for review and will be available shortly making mixed compatible to ios9. that brings some hope.
2015/09/29 at 11:48 pm #50949jb12stringParticipantHopefully you’re right. I called American Music and Sound (A&H’s US distributor) and spoke with Ryan the iLive tech specialist and he said he expected them to be fixing it but didn’t have specifics.
2015/10/02 at 9:25 am #51022Nicola A&HKeymasterI can confirm we fixed the iOS9 compatibility issue with MixPad and released the app to the App Store. It should be available in a matter of days subject to Apple’s testing.
We are also working on a similar fix for iLive OneMix.
Note that these updates will be visible only to iOS9 users. Maintaining compatibility with all previous versions would have generated more work / longer tests. Of course you can keep using the current version of MixPad and OneMix with any previous iOS.
2015/10/02 at 12:48 pm #51028jb12stringParticipantThanks for the update Nicola! Anybody who is on iOS 9 want to volunteer to let those of us who rolled back know when the update hits the app store?
