At the moment it’s only possible to send mix outputs to the dSNAKE.
Would it be possible to send Direct Outputs from each input channel to the dSNAKE outputs and Expander?

This would allow all 16 mic inputs of the desk to be used with Timecode enabled recorders and may allow better integration with existing studio systems looking for increased preamp track counts in combination with the control surface elements.

For pure recording you can route each channel to just one mix.

    Since you say 16 mics I assume a QU16?

For studio recording I’d prefer USB to avoid the additional DA/AD stages (signal quality will not improve that way). But I see this could be helpful for special requirements as described.
