    Is it possible to play more than one track at a time to different zones? For example, an event would start track1 in zone one while a different event would start track2 in a different room.

    You can set the player to be Dual mono and play to audio files to 2 zones.
    Actually you can play 3 audio files @ the same time.
    For example
    Zone 1> Mono Player 1 (Background)
    Zone 2> Mono Player 2 (Background)

    Now you can play 1 extra audio file to player 1 or 2.

    This gives you the ability to do announcements while there are 2 mono players active
