Thanks guys.
I did as Soren said and yes, only those outputs are shown when rec is armed. The only problem remains gap tracks which are stored in SQDrive and take memory.
2020/01/21 at 10:11 am #88901Just a thought here
You want to make a multitrack recording, but the pics shown are your patch FROM USB to the console, not from console to USB.
Could you show me how to do it please?
Thanks.2020/01/20 at 9:37 pm #88888@volounteer, I bought my mixer a week ago, so I’m really very happy. I have to decide between M32, TF1 and SQ5. And it was definitely SQ5, because of new technology, because of add-ons, because of touch screen. And I found after I bought it, that it is 90% easier than X32 (which I had it 2 years ago). I did not found so much things bad to it till now, and I have made some settings. Of course, I’m not at that level of an studio engineer, or to work with Dante, S-Link or multiple extensible connections like a pro, because I’m not one of them 😀 I have only a little band here in Romania and I want something else, in sound I mean, because there are a lot of Dynacord analog mixers here, and I am disgust of that sound 🙁
SQ5, till now is exactly what I want.
But I found this “little” issue, and I wanted to ask here, to know if is something I did wrong or it is like this only!Cheers!

This is an issue, in my opinion! Why do you record a slot that has not an assignment to it?
This is a space consuming issue!More then that tracks 1 & 2 cannot be recorded in my case, because they are assigned to USB Player, which cannot play when I am in Multitrack screen 🙂
Bellow that, let’s calculate:
I have a recorded MTR folder which has exactly 77 MB with 16 tracks of 17 seconds recorded. Each track has 4.81 MB. I have assigned only 9 tracks (+2 from USB, so 11 trks).
That means I have consumed in 17 seconds 4.81 MB x 5 = apr. 24 MB in vain. In only 17 second. It’s a lost of space here! Really!
Nobody has complained about this issue in these years?Regards,

2020/01/19 at 8:36 pm #88860Managed to do it with matrix:

Can you explain to me exactly how to do that?2020/01/19 at 5:56 pm #88854So, as you all understand better what I want:
I want to send Main LR signal to different outputs (and I did it, as it wrote in above posts). Each output will be connected to different active speakers. Each pairs of speakers has different factory EQ presets, so I need to lower some frequencies, or to louder some others. In this way I want to make for all different speakers almost the same sound.
How can I do this?Thank you very much.
2020/01/19 at 5:16 pm #88849Ok. I routed MainLR to outputs. But now, how can I assign thouse outputs to strips to be able to PEQ them?
2020/01/19 at 5:12 pm #88848Awesome!!!😲👏

2020/01/12 at 5:31 pm #88695+1 from me too… X32 has it (I owned an X32, I’m sure M32 has it, as well)
Regards,
Vali2020/01/12 at 5:22 pm #88694Thank you very much Peter.
I have already found it, and I wanted to put an image with it, for the beginners as mine.
I needed for my monitors, which I have already a pair of TS to XLR cables.
I saw that MainLR (L and R) ports can be assigned to all outputs ports, as well.Best regards,
