While mixing some channels are louder than others. Apart from the obvious, one guitar would play and when the other guitar comes in on a different channel, the first guitar disappears. When the second stops playing, the first gets louder. There’s also a delay in the instrument to the speaker. We swapped out the qu-24 with a different board and it’s sounds good. Thoughts?

You most likely have a side-chained compressor or even a Dugan going on somewhere. Check the manual or Youtube for more information.

    Good luck !

It does sound like you have “auto mix” function applied to those channels.
It’s under the set up menu, audio, AMM tabs.

Auto mix works great for spoken word event with multiple mics…..not so much
with instruments and live music. Actually is does work with some choirs using three or four mics!

    Thanks Mike!
That was it! The AMM was on. I shut it off and we’ll see how the board is supposed to really sound tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s been on the all this time. It seemed more prevalent with direct inputs probably because of the higher gain.
    Thanks again!
