Yes. We do the exact same thing.

Login to the admin account. Go to Setup > Config > User Profiles. Select the user you want to change and press “Set Permissions”. I believe it’s under the Memories tab that you can disable the ability to overwrite scenes.

On a further note, does anyone know of a way to make it so users can not even pull up anything other than their default scene? This would be helpful for us as well.

I’m wanting to free up output sockets. It’d be great to run our mains signal over the network cable to an amp on stage.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong…direct outputs can have no effects on them?

Is there a way to select an output point on an aux send like there is for the direct outs? For example, to send a channel to an aux with EQ, but without compression?

We got a 75ft CAT6a shielded cable from Monoprice.com, cut off the boots, and attached Neutrik ethercon connectors for a total of under $30USD. Very high quality cable and good value.
