+1 for the even/odd pairs or even ability to patch this way from the patchbay to an odd/even channel pair. Definitely feels a bit restrictive given the levels of these desks.

Checking in here as we are moving to a dLive system on Monday, is the the M/X32 limitation where you can only link channel 1-2 rather than 2-3? If so, that’s a seemingly unnecessary stain on an otherwise fantastic console.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but couldn’t you also set up mix groups that you want to give control to band and get them sounding good, then set up a custom control app for them that allows SOF of said groups to their auxes?

That makes complete sense. At that point, what we might call “digital split” has no ability to read preamp data of the sockets across the gigaACE bridge and compensate for changes? That would be a fabulous feature to include in the future. As an alternative, throwing both DM on the same control network so that they can “talk” could be a future solution.

Understood, but I’m specifically asking about possibilities when using 2x gigACE cards to tieline sockets to a second engine in a DM0. It is not desirable to use multi-surface mixrack sharing in this case.
