So finally after 2-1/2 days I did speak with a guy at American Music & Sound, the US Distributor for A&H.
Had me run through a bunch of tests, and at the end, he said my console is going to have to go back to A&H.
I’m a bit upset, have only had the thing for a little over a month.
But what really made me upset is I am expected to pay for shipping to A&H, they pay for it coming back.
I’d understand this if the console was a year old, but not a month old.
He said he would speak to the powers that be, guess we’ll see if he is successful.
I have to say, this episode with it taking days to get someone on the phone has really soured me on A&H.
For a $3000+ piece of gear, I expect better.

Hmm, that sounds like it could be the issue. It worked, then the console got moved, and now it doesn’t work.
Thanks for the reply, I’ll see what A&H has to offer.

I’d have to go and fire it up again to see that. 198. something…..
I’ll see what A&H TS says tomorrow I hope.

It does, but when I launch the Qu-Pad app, it doesn’t see the Qu-32. You can enter the IP address directly from there, which I did, but then it times out because it doesn’t find the Qu-32 at that IP address.
Because the Qu-32 is not making a connection with the router.

The issue is not the router.
When I got home, I hooked up my Qu-16 to the same router, no changes.
Showed up right away, and the link LED is on on the console. iPad connects to router, Qu-Pad app works fine.
I’m thinking the network port on the console is the culprit. There is nothing else to configure on the console.

Tried Auria last night with my QU-16 on an iPad 4, using the USB camera adapter.
Recorded 18 tracks, all seemed to go well until I ran out of storage on my iPad (I have the 16GB WiFi version).
Was able to move the tracks (.wav files) from the iPad to my iMac via iTunes, and then into Audacity.
Pretty nice set up, but the memory issue will keep this from being a real tool. I’ll use my MacBook and TracksLive since that has plenty of space.

Purchased the 48-track (playback) version of Auria, connected the iPad to my QU-32 with the Apple Camera Adapter.
Tracks show audio from the QU, so it looks like it will work.
Will test at gig on Thursday, but looks like it works. Can only record 24-tracks, but that should be enough for most of my gigs.

I have 2 AB168’s, SN AB1608X-531740 and AB1608X-531789. They work fine either alone or in tandem.
What took me a while to figure out was the channel routing selection for inputs 17-32.
Once I got that set up both boxes worked together.

The main reason for that layout is I am using 2 of the AB168 dSNAKE boxes.
dSNAKE 1-16 is at the rear of the stage for the drums and instrument inputs, plus the Main Outputs to the DriveRack 260, and the drummer and keyboard players floor wedges.
dSNAKE 17-32 is at the front of the stage for vocal inputs and mix outputs for vocal floor wedges.
Works out well, I only need to run one Cat5 cable back to the console.
Trying to work smarter, not harder, in my old age!

I can get the Tracks live application on my MacBook Air to recognize the QU-32, so that part is good.
What I can’t do (yet) is get audio from the board to show up in the app.
Might be user error, I will work on it this weekend.

    That’s what I’m thinking.
Use the AB168 as a floor-box for smaller gigs and use the AR2412 in the rack for the times when I need more than 16-channels.

Sounds kind of kludgey to me. Still would love to see a picture of it installed.
