Hey Mike C, you were absolutely correct!
Not sure why I never checked the source. It was set to Local from the last time I had to use laptop music for a ceremony.
    Thanks for the suggestion-

I’m having a similar issue with the Qu Mix app on one of my iPad Pro’s.
I actually bring 2 Pro’s to gigs (one as a backup).
One is a 1st Gen and the other a 3rd Gen, both on the latest iOS 15.
The older 1st Gen looks fine. The newer 3rd Gen is cutting off part of the Input screen at the top.
Have not tried Qu You, don’t really use it.

    SKB shallow 4-space rack.
The only thing I leave plugged into the front is an angled RJ45 that connects to the router I have mounted in the back of the case.
There is a small amount of room under the SB, but not much.
Because the SKB has front and rear rack rails I have a CyberPower power strip in the back, as well as my router.

Look at the manual, it lays out all possible combinations.
The only thing that can be plugged into the expansion port on the console is the AR84.
Sorry if I wasn’t clear on that.
Look at the diagram, theoretically this should work, unless there is a hardware issue.

I don’t own an AR2412, but have 2 of the AB168’s which I connect to my GLD80. I cascade one from the expander port of the other, like you are trying to do. Sees them both.
According to the manual what you are trying to do should work.
What happens when you connect just the AB168 to to e console, does that show up?
What about the AR84 to the expander port on the AR2412?

I own 3 of them, with body packs, and they’ve always worked well indoors.
I’ve never asked them to go beyond 100′ or so. Did have some drop-out issues last year outside, but that was before I bought the UA-844 antenna combiner and the DFIN from RF Venue.
I just replaced the Sennheiser wireless in the rack with another SLX system.

I do this all the time with a wireless handheld for announcements and my iPod-only button.

If you could be more specific as to how you are muting the effects, the would help.
I do this with my Qu-SB all the time with a Mute Group tied to a Soft Button.
I created a Mute Group that includes all of the Effect Return channels (for vocals I use FX1, 2, and 3) and have that on a Soft button that lives on the same page as the vocals (in Custom Pages).
In between songs when there is talking I just hit that button and all effects are muted. Un-mute when the next song begins and there you go.

    NZdave,
The Apple PN is MJ262LL/A, and you’ll need the USB-C to Lightning cable with it, MKQ42AM/A.
As I said, I ran this on Saturday with my iPad Pro and the Qu-SB and it actually charged during the breaks when I wasn’t mixing from the audience.
Worth the $60 it cost me for both. Bought them on ebay from 2 different sellers.

I too noticed that my iPad Pro would last about 2 sets when used with my Qu-SB. Using the supplied charger did nothing but stem the drain. It wouldn’t charge unless I put it to sleep.
I did some research and read about a new charger from Apple that has a USB C port on it. I bought that plus a USB C to Lightning cable, and it does charge the iPad while in use.
I can look up the PN if you need it.

I’ve never had luck with an Airport Express and my Qu-16, Qu-SB, or GLD-80.
I know some folks have, but it never worked for me.
I have 3 TP-Link routers and they work fine, easy to set up, etc…

So I decided to ditch the SKB rack and go with a traditional type of deal. 4-space, 10-inch depth with front and back rails.
I put a CyberPower strip in the rear of the rack, has 12-outlets on the backside of the strip and 6 on the front.
The Qu-SB is permanently wired in and I have a 6-outlet box that I will run to the front of the rack for closer power.
I can tuck my router and a 25-foot Cat5 cable in the rack as well.
I’m getting a lot of use out of this piece of gear, I hardly ever take my Qu-16 or GLD-80 out unless I have a place I can actually mix from besides the side of the stage.
