Printed music never crashes…
But but but….. Ipads never go a-flying 🙂
2017/12/15 at 11:42 pm #66950As an in between: If the adjustments you have to make from the stage aren’t too complicated you could even run the Q-control app on an android phone or tablet

2017/12/14 at 7:24 pm #66900Lol ! You’ve got all this nice digital stuff and you’re approaching it like they used to do way back by “bouncing”….
Question: do you have that drumtracks as 1 stereotrack or as separate tracks ?
Would it be ok if I send you a PM for guidance so not to pollute the forum too much ?

2017/12/14 at 10:07 am #66884I get perfectly nice results using the onboard gates and carefully adjusting the available parameters tbh although I háve run into artifacts when I tried to let it reduce the gain by too many db’s. I now usually go 20 dB down and that’s just fine.

2017/12/14 at 7:49 am #66881Haha, no, it seems like this time I misunddrstood you. The little blue light comes up when you arm a channel so it’s ready to record and it means that you will hear what’s being recorded. This can be problematic when you also monitor directly from the interface. You then get the direct signal and the slightly delayed signal from the DAW which cabresult in a sort echo-y overall sound depending on the set buffer…..
Say you still have the channels armed (red lights on) with the monitoring on (also blue lights on) while you play back your recorded mix there only has to be one mic that pics up the playback to introduce at least part of what I discribed above.
So, when playing back, make sure no channels are armed. Btw, if you arm a channel you can then click on the blue light to disable that monitoring.Just to make sure: you have assigned the DAW channels outputs to the DAW output and the DAW output to f.i. a stereo-in on your Qu I assume ?

2017/12/13 at 6:11 pm #66871Ah ! Do you happen to have the little blue “monitorbuttons” in Studio One activated ? (The ones in the left part of the channel, right next to the red “armed” or “record” sign ?

2017/12/12 at 9:38 am #66831The L/R meter was bouncing in the yellow
On the main levelmeter or on the recordinglevel meter ? You know you can choose where to pick the signal from for recording don’t you ?

2017/12/12 at 7:39 am #66829I agree with the 99,99% 😉 It’s most likely you’ve unintentionally activated a reverb somewhere, you’ve created some kind of loop or it’s latency between a “direct” signal and that same signal going via another way. Take a long and hard look at your routing and assignments……
Fwiw: I se StudioOne 2 and never had the problems you’re mentioning.
Good luck !

2017/12/06 at 7:43 am #66714Where do you take of the audio in the path ? I record from directly after the preamp and never had this issue but I can imagine if you take the signal after all the channel processing you might be on to something…

2017/12/03 at 12:36 pm #66657This is of interest for me too for possible future reference.
So if I understand it correctly you can
– use the physical inputs 1 – 16 on the Qu and add 17 – 32 via a stagebox ór
– digitally replace Qu’s physical inputs by the inputs on a stageboxWhat about using Qu’s physical inputs as 17 – 32 in the 2nd scenario ?
