Where abouts do you live Frank ? Otherwise we have several German forum members here…

When trying to play back a recording through the desk, have you set the inputsources to usb (the laptop) or Qu-drive (desk) ?

An offline editor is a feature that is often asked for so you’re not alone ! Maybe one day ?
Giga
The short answer is NO….. Get an Ipad and be done with it 👍
Giga
Just try the supplied presets until you find one that gets you closest to what you want hear and tweak from there.
Maybe someone can even send you a library file for that mic…
For the Nord it’s important to have some consistancy across it’s presets so you don’t end up tweaking the mixer every time the keyboardist switches to another patch
Fwiw: I usually highpass keyboards around 40 Hz (in case a virtual Hammond is used), take out some lows around 200 Hz and boost highs a bit.
Good luck and have fun !

Perfectly normal

Was this with the same band as last time it occurred ? Does the problematic mix gets feed by unique sources (sources that aren’t in the mixes that don’t give problems)?
Can you mirror the mix that is going in the problematic mixes to one or two unused mixes ? That way, if you would still create a amix in the problematix mixes but not connect a wedge to it you could make a qu=drive multitrack recording where you record at least the problematix mixes.

My first test would be to swap the Mackies with FOH speakers and see what happens then.
Good luck !
Giga
Nope, too much hassle, too little features, especially the transport control lacks. I multitrack internally, drop the tracks into my DAW and work indise the box.

IOPatch, surface, Alt out, LR, done
God luck !

Or is it the actual signal generator at work ?
Giga
Mains ? Mixes ?
Clean power ?
Unassign everything from everywhere and start adding sources one by one
Good luck !

What sort of wireless headphones are you using Giga?
And does any one else have a prefered model to transmit from the desk direct into heaphones?
For now I’m using the LD-systems MEI 1000. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done until I can justify a Shure/Sennheiser kit. I’m using it with an Extreme Isolation set of cans.
Giga
Yeah, there definitely can be some crosstalk sometimes; until now I have always been able to get rid of it by pulling back all the faders that are not in use and/or unassign the channels in question.
Good luck !

Coming from the analog beasts and now on a Qu-SB. I have adapted real quick. I usually use 2 Ipads to have 2 customlayers open all the time. Smaller gigs obviously.
As far as I know all options are approachable via Ipad but I have no indepth knowledge of the apps that go with the physical mixers so I might be wrong.
I’m using wireless headphones for monitoring.
The only real advantage from “real” fadres I can think of is the feel and the fact that you can have more eye-contact with the stage…
