Here are a few Pictures of the custom Rack Case I had built for my SQ5. I designed it with a few thoughts in mind. I wanted the whole system to roll in and be ready to go quickly. I also wanted the mixer to sit at a good height and not have anything between me and the front of the mixer. The Mixer is on a sliding shelf/tray that can extend forward. Next I wanted the case to be customizable for any job I may put it on, instead of a shockmount system I opted for two removable 3RU Space Racks. These can easily slide out and can be placed on stage, for example. I choose to put an AR2412 in one and Shure QLXD 2-4 Packs in the other. The Drawers hold my wireless router, and Microphones. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any questions or suggestions.

I finally just ordered one from my local distributor. Excited to put it to work.

Will the new Dante Card have primary and secondary ports for redundancy? Or only 1 port?

Anyone received one yet that can confirm?

I would double check a couple areas.

First, go to your input and check the Routing. Make sure then Main LR is “On” and not “Off”. I can imagine a scenario of your Auxes getting output when your input is either pre or post send and your Main LR not getting any output because your Main LR is “off” in the routing for that input.

Second, I’d double check the patch for both input and outputs.

Third, I’d save the scene, then copy to an external thumb drive. I’d suggest doing this before resetting the console to factory default. The. Reload the scene and see if that changes anything.

Fourth, if that doesn’t help, try opening a support ticket directly with A&H.

I tried to make these input sharing connections (following the A&H Video link provided) by using a Qu-16 and a SQ-5.

However I was a but stumped. I was only able to access the Qu’s LR Mix output and not share the direct inputs. I know it must be something simple…. I think if anyone has gotten this to work if you could share maybe a basic spreadsheet on what you selected on each console. so that we can make the connections. At the moment the youtube Video is a little confusing as the numbers don’t exactly match up as 1 to 1, 2 to 2, etc.. instead the youtube video suggested that 1-40 = 21-60.

So on a Qu-16 this I would assume,…
Qu ME1 = SQ Slink 21
Qu ME2 = SQ Slink 22
Qu ME3 = SQ Slink 23
Qu ME4 = SQ Slink 24
….
Qu ME24 = SQ Slink 44

Best New Hidden Feature not listed on the Release notes is

the Input Names that we manually enter for each input channel (i.e. Kick, ,Snare, HH-1, etc..) are now shown on the IO Screen (instead of the basic Ip5, Ip6, etc…)

I agree. Having the I/O Page Available on the Mixpad App would be awesome. Especially since most of the users that will use the SQ will be utilizing the Digital Stage Boxes (AR2412, AB168, AR84, DX168, etc…) with the Slink Port.

I also think it would be awesome if the Console and Mixpad App showed the actual Stagebox numbers. As of right now (vers1.1) the Screen shows Slink simply as 1-40.

Ideally it would show the SLink as as (AR2412 1-24 + AB168 1-16) Hopefully that makes sense.

I just thought I would report to everyone (or any future visitors to this thread) that it Seems that A&H have resolved and fixed this issue in the new 1.2 Firmware update. I haven’t tested it yet but please see the 1.2 Release notes below:
