I can change it on the text block screen and it changes in both places. I can go to another random input and the text block will be green as well as the scribble strip. Pick another input and text block is black but scribble strip is green.
I don’t think I’m explaining this very well. May have to post a video.2022/09/20 at 7:00 pm #109132Hmmm, just hooked it up at the shop now and it seems to work as it should. Not sure what I was doing wrong. I may not have had Follow Device selected.
2019/08/28 at 1:57 pm #860937 instances of quyou and 1 of qupad. Total of 8.
There’s some discussion on PSW that of those 8, 2 instances of qupad are included, leaving only 6 instances of quyou available.
It would be nice to hear from someone at A&H to confirm or debunk this.2017/07/21 at 3:26 pm #64404lol, thanks anyways everyone.

2017/07/20 at 8:23 pm #64384Yes driver was installed after I tried connecting and the software would not see the QU. After I d/l I can connect, but with the limitations I described.
Thanks2017/07/20 at 4:01 pm #64378yup btdt.
You can also set that up from the main window. But here is the issue. If I select <windows direct sound> as my audio host, and <line (QU24)> as my input, I am only given the choice of <1 mono> or <2 stereo> as my track selections. That will actually work fine if I only want to record one mono track, but not what the client wishes.
My next choice is to try <Windows WASAPI> as my audio host. Now I can select up to 32 mono channels yay. However, when I hit record I get error message <Error opening sound device. Try changing audio host, recording device and project sample rate>
I did try changing sample rate to lowest offered and still no luck. Quite annoying actually.
Changing audio host to MME brings me back to having the <1 mono> or <2 stereo> option.2017/07/19 at 7:12 pm #64365Thanks. I do have the channels routed correctly in the QU24 as you described. Cannot get them to populate on the recording software. Works ok in Reaper.

2017/06/06 at 3:22 pm #63728Good info from everyone. Thanks.
If they decide to end up using a usb interface to go from a mix out (like they’re used to), what do you recommend for a cheap one that will do the trick? Still trying to convince them that QUdrive is the way to go…but old habits etc.2017/06/01 at 4:15 pm #63674Thanks for the reply. Normalise means to make the volume “normal” right? And that is done in their recording program correct? Not sure what dropping 8 bits off the bottom means…thinking it makes the file leaner? And what verbage would that come under in a typical program? Appreciate the help.
