The first two questions, when I saw the new behringer wing were: How does it sound and is it reliable?!

That doesn´t mean that I wouldn´t be more than happy to be able to purchase more of the DLive FXs. Everybody is different, but I´d love to add on the Vocalsshifter, Transient Controller and Hypabass to my SQ…. it´s getting closer to christmas, so… 😉

I have the Allen & Heath M-SQ-WAVES3-A in my SQ5, set to 48kHz. The card does the sample rate conversion, so my trusty old MacBook can record relaxed the audio streams. Up to 64 channels on one ethernetcable.

Yeah, I could also buy a GX 4824, use the giga ACE card and have multiple DX168…plenty of options. The issue is money. And I am married. 🙂
An XLR Adaptor costs me €7,90.

You don´t think that it would be great, if we all had the option to convert inputs to outputs and vice verse? A bit like the AUX/GROUP options: 24/12 could be changed to 26/10 or 30/6…

I somehow get the feeling that a LPF/ HighCut is not as easy to implement as we might think…I once asked for a simple clock and Keith eplained why that is not only not simple but indeed impossible…
It would be nice to get a feedback from A&H mothership on which requests are simple but not priority and vice versa…

there is no MIX button on every channel of the SQ like on the DLive.

Or do mean by MixCopy: to copy a mix? That works fine in the App…

when your in scenes Manager on the MixPad App, just double click on the scene you want to copy/paste.

Hi Peter.

Seem like your App shows the SQ7 simulation. This seems to be the default after installing the app on Ipad.
You can change which SQ model is beeing shown by going to SETUP (in the top row), then MixPad (left side column).
Now you can change the simulated SQ model on the right column.

Hi Nicola,

and could you add another known issue to the 1.4.0. release notes: Desk freezes when using a non assigned footswitch via TRS.
This is especially tricky if you use a dual footswitch, assign only tip or ring and accidentally hit the unassigned button.

Hi GraceGCF,

the list of USB Thumb drives that record flawless is very short.

First, SQ is running on LINUX. Make sure, your Thumb drive is suited for that. A lot of them is not.
Second: you need a thumb drive, that has a really fast writing speed. 16 Channels in 96kHz is A LOT of data for a USB Stick. Better use a SSD Drive. There is a list of approved ones or a least ones that are reported to work in the SQ Knowlegde Base.
