I mix on other pro consoles that have rotory functions that do what I’m asking for like a pro 2 for example and works fine.
so the rotory knob being slow to turn isn’t an issue for me because it’s not slow for me when I use it.
and landing on 0 with the knob shouldn’t need another button to do what it should do already is what I mean.

overall having the rotary knob be more accurate would be appreciated.

I absolutely would love that. because that doesn’t have an negative effect for me ever mixing. but trying to land on actual 0 or moving to a specific frequency range does.

absolutely please ad an expander gate option or include it in the onboard basic gate.

I would love this feature since I have to focus on switching to different channels and layers a lot plus navigate a lot on screen having a flashing light on what mix is selected would help tremendously. please add this as a standard please.

So at one of my venues I work at they run qsc k153 for mains into a dbx speaker processor rack followed by an dl32 box. the house mixer is an x32 and on the dbx processor the inputs have to be input padded to gain full volume. on my sq5 into an ar2412 box I have to have the pad off to gain full volume.
are you using a processor?

based on the output specs in comparison for these particular mixers they are off by 1db in the plus range, the x32 +4dbu / +22dbu max and sq5 +4dbu / +21dbu.

what other mixer are you using in comparison that makes you feel this drop is happening?

I’m curious about this myself as what I have experiencing in this small capacity.
I have yet to test it in the larger venue I mix at that has a larger array system and pro2 mixer.
