Hi, new hear. Is there any way to hook up a behringer x-touch to control my Qu-sb? Thanks in advance.

Not sure about that controller in particular, but it is possible to control a Qu remotely via its MIDI protocol (https://www.allen-heath.com/media/Qu_MIDI_Protocol_V1.9.pdf).
So it would depend on whether the controller can be programmed to send and respond to NRPN messages.
The other thing you could run into is that the Qu uses an active connection to know whether there is something connected remotely. If this is causing problems, you could either use a computer in between the two running our DAW Control Driver (https://www.allen-heath.com/daw-control/), or add in a BomeBox (https://www.bome.com/products/bomebox) which would manage the connection and could also be programmed to carry out translation.Cheers,

There doesn’t seem to be too much anywhere online with regards to using other controllers, I have been using Logic and DAW control quite successfully but was thinking it would be great to just use the x-touch and the qu-sb going straight to HD and an ipad as a meter bridge. Thanks again.

the better idea would be to use a computer (even a tablet would help a bit) with Mixing Station and control the mixing station

It currently handles 16 tracks but could be expanded to 32.
The faders control L-R for the first 8 inputs. You can bank right to control inputs 9-16. The V-Pots handle L-R Pan for their respective channel
The master fader handles L-R Main Level.
The mutes, and solo (PAFL) also work for their respective channel. They also handle LED feedback from the QU.
The faders adjust on the X-touch as you bank up or down and also the scribble strips. It will also update channel names sent from the QU.
It shouldn’t be hard to adopt this for the QU-SB as all of the QU series use the same engine.
If interested, reach out to me at bome.com for more information. I handle most of the support there.
To use it, you would need a BomeBox as well or something that can send raw MIDI via TCP. My testing was with BomeBox.
