Stereo recording messing with my head

Hey All
I have a sq5 and i have my multi recording to usb stick
1-20 + Main Stereo (22/23) it works super
here is the thing i wanted to do just a stereo recordingbut it seems to me that it only will reccord ch1 and ch2 and not the main
what im i missing….?

Belfast, the way i figured it out was to search on the term “matrix” in the online manual. Once you find the patch matrix, it’s very easy to assign the LR outputs to channels 1 and 2 of the recorder, rather than inputs 1 and 2, which i believe is the default patch.
