Hi there, apologies if this has been discussed before but I did a search and couldn’t find the answer.

We currently route signals from both the AR2412 and local XLR inputs to Logic Pro using tie lines and Dante, in order to make a separate mix for our church livestream. My question is, if one of the inputs isn’t also assigned to a channel on the SQ6 (because it isn’t required FOH), how is the gain controlled before it hits Logic via Dante Virtual Soundcard?

Easiest thing to do is to drop the channel onto a slot/layer on the surface, select it, make any changes you want to gain or otherwise, and then swipe it off the slot/layer again if you don’t want it visible to the board operator.

Socket control is available in the I/O screen.
Touch the input socket to get preamp control (where available) without requiring the socket to be patched to an input channel.

    Hope this helps!
    Keith.

Nice! I’d no idea you could do that! Thanks Keith.
