Routing: Using Group sends as extra Aux's.

I’m using a Qu-Pac with an expander (AR284). I need 8 mono monitor sends. I’ve used this setup and had exactly what I needed; my 2 Group sends had faders independent of the main output. All of a sudden, now my 2 Group sends (assigned to outputs on the expander) are showing me the main mix and when I make changes in the Groups, it affects the LR Mains Mix. I don’t know how anything changed from night to night but I now can only use Aux sends for monitor mixes. Any ideas?

Did you change the groups from “mix” to “group” by any chance ? A mix goes to a dedicated output, a group always (also) goes to mains.
