recording studio Qu-16

I need to know everything you need to connect mixer qu-16 in my recording studio.
I want to use it as a control surface protools. I have watched videos of A & H and show how to configure quite generally.

I have also a compressor and a fx that my customers demand, especially by the warmth of the compressor, enable it as insert for the time vocal recorded. as would be the wiring and settings for use?.

what would be the best way to send room monitoring execution of musicians?.
story amplifier with headphones.

I have understood that qu-16 mixer has 3 layers, as I set one for monitoring control?.

these are more technical inquiries:
mixer qu-16 has some latency problem when recording multiple tracks ?, I think engrave 14 tracks (drums), any problems with this?

all of the above with mixer qu-16 as a control surface protools.

if you could explain configuration and wiring of the above would be great !!!
