    Evening all,

A handy feature I’d like to see is when the PAFL is selected on a channel using the Qu-pad app the “soloed” channel would route to the headphone jack on the iPad/tablet. I find listening through headphones handy when comparing the the sound from the source to the sound after PEQ, dialling in, behind the Qu16 but sometimes the mixer is stage side.

    Cheers folks.

Yes. That would be great if it could work. Sadly it can’t.

The best I’ve come up with is the obvious work-around: Sennheiser wireless IEM rig.

Yep – UHF IEM is the way to go.

Thanks for the suggestion for the work around gents. Just out of curiosity what limitations are there that prevent it from becoming a possibility? Is it hardware/firmware issue or a legal issue?

    Cheers

It’s a practical issue – any attempt to do this would induce untenable latency.

Of course! Streaming uncompressed audio would be pushing the bandwidth and compressed audio would be unfavourable. Silly me…so IEMs it is.

Apple does not allow it, it is not an issue with A&H
