No IO Logic/Ableton Mac Catalina

Hi,
Sorry for the dumb question.
Ive been running my QU-16 through a 2013 mac book pro for about 8 months without any issues. I recently updated the OS to Catalina and I cant get any IO in logic or ableton. Software instruments are working fine and so are itunes & spotify, just the mic/line inputs and anything outputting from the DAWS seem to be not responding. I’m not sure that the OS update is the problem but it seems to coincide with the update.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I tend to say it is a Logic or Ableton problem… or a Catalina problem?

the internet is full of these kind of trouble
Did you give Logic the right to use the microphone?
