Hi,
Just received my ME-1 and I’m having fun playing with it!
I’ll be using it with a QU-16, so no channel naming over ethernet for me.
I’ve set up a group for drums – can I manually name each member of the group? Can’t see how to do it.
Cheers
Martin
Just had a response from tech support
“Groups in ME are made up of input channels from the dSnake
unless you connect to a GLD or via the ME-U hub (which has an online naming utility) you don’t get names coming in down the cable to the ME system.
Qu does not have channel names in the mixer so it cannot send them out on dSnake to a ME.
You can name the ‘Keys’ of the me, which you then can assign to any source but a group is made up of input channels so when you ‘open up’ the group you see only the default channel names ie 1,2,3,etc”
So I’ve raised this in feature suggestions!
