Mounting To a rack-top

Hi,

I would like to mount our SQ5 on top of a 19″ rack.
Can I simply mount it to the ‘floor’ using the screwholes in the bottom of the SQ5?
Or do I need some kit or spacers to do that?

Hi Peter,

Something important to bare in mind when doing this is air flow, as there are fans underneath the SQ, as well as vents at the top and front.

So as long as the is a sufficient air gap at the positions it should be fine.

So leaving the current rubber knobs and adding some spacers of the same thickness around the screws should do the trick.
