LED strip balance issues

Just got a new avantis, turned it on, played with the LED strip balance, and a section of the led strip on the right side won’t go to white. Is this a known issue? I’ve tried searching and I can’t find anything. Planning on doing a firmware update but super discouraging on first bootup to already have a potential issue. Any help appreciated!

Just to clarify, one side of the LED works as expected, but the other side is not? The two sides should definitely match when it comes to colors. That certainly sounds like a hardware issue with the LEDs and I would reach out to the supplier where you bought it to see about a repair/replacement.

While I understand your frustration and discouragement, this is not “normal” for A&H. Hopefully you can get it fixed/replaced without too much trouble!

Correct. Left side works, and on the right side, half of the LEDs will not switch to white using the LED strip balance in the surface dimmer section. I’m still going to try the firmware update, but this feels like a hardware issue to me as well. Just really frustrating cause I’m sure this will set me back several weeks in installation, if it’s a hardware issue.
