Keyboard entry not accepted for Embedded Recall delay in Director 2.0

Director 2.0 doesn’t seem to want to accept a keyboard-entered value for Delay in the Embedded recall dialog.

I can right-click and enter a value, but when I press enter, it seems to always revert to the previous value. Other keyboard entry fields I have tried seem to accept values as long as they are within acceptable ranges.
