    It would be nice to be able to swap the LF and HF channel strip input PEQs to be able to be shelving EQs

    This is already possible. Select the Bandwidth (Q) Parameter of the lowest or highest band and use the encoder to change the value to the lowest or highest possible value. Then it changes the type to shelfing.

    SIDE NOTE: You can only switch into shelving mode on the touch screen, not on the rotary controls.

    Needs to be a variable size shelf to be as steep as a LPF

    A low or high pass filter is something completely different than ha shelf filter. But the good news is that you do not need to wait too much longer because it should be included in FW 1.5

    Pass-filter mode coming in firmware 1.5. This was demoed at the winter NAMM show. There is another topic here on just that.
