    I am trying to upgrade to version 1.8 fireware on my qu-16. The process has gotten hung – the Pan light continues to oscillate back and forth – it has been like this for 30 minutes. I am unsure what to do.

    Previous upgrades took only a couple of minutes.

    If I power off, I’m afraid I’ll have no way to use the mixer.

    Help!

    You’re pretty stuck with just powering down and trying again. I think I would do a new download. Trash the one you have first. Should only take a few minutes to install.

    I powered down and back up and it seemed ok, but I took your advice and re-updated. It worked as expected the second time around.
