    Hey all,

we’ve been using an SQ5>DX168>DX168 setup using cascade for the past 10 months. Pretty Plug and Play so once we got it setup it didn’t need much.

today we came in and the final DX168 in the chain had no network connection. We’ve tried various cables, we’ve plugged it in as the first stagebox in the chain and neither of those had network connectivity. (all plugged in A)

when we switched it to redundant mode, and plugged into B we get network connectivity and seems to be in working order. The only issue here is we are unable to utilize both stageboxes (like when it was in cascade mode).

    Any help?

I’m assuming it might be something I could talk to support and potentially start some sort of RMA process. If I got an expansion card would being in cascade matter if its the only thing attached to the expansion card?

By your description, it sounds like there is a problem with the primary network port on the DX168. I would suggest that you reach out to your distributor about starting a warranty claim.

I agree with Brian. Regrettably this does sound like a hardware issue. Best of luck.
