    Hi,

    I have a very simple setup. I have a tape player hooked on the back of the QU16 channel 3.
    In Cubase, I configured the Qu ASIO driver, and created a Mono input bus mapped to channel 3.
    I then created a mono audio track and used the new bus on it.

    When I play a tape, the sound comes out of the mixer’s outputs to the monitors, and I can see the sound meter leds go up and down.
    Problem is that in the DAW, the volume level bar stays black. No sound seems to be reaching the track.

    The purpose of this is to record in WAV format some old tapes.

    I got it. I was looking at the wrong meter.
