Is there a way to trim PAFL level for each channel so that the volume is similar when changing channels, so that some channels aren’t excessively louder on the PAFL?

You can use AFL or PFL.

Also, this could be a sign of incorrect gain staging. You may consider going through all channels and trying to normalize the gain at an appropriate level.

That is a good point that I had thought about, but the discrepancy is more often between channels and LR (mains). Perhaps the one PAFL trim that is available would fix that? I’ll experiment next time on the board and get back if still having trouble. Thanks

Experiment with AFL and PFL settings.

It turned out that the PAFL trim doesn’t adjust independently for each channel, but it can make all channel PAFL’s softer, to match the level of the softer LR PAFL.

That is the intention behind the PAFL trim.
