2012/11/16 at 10:43 am #32114NethanelParticipantHello,
I have the same situation here.
I tried to update via USB key and via the editor. The first time, only the touchscreen was updated. It failed when trying to update the MixRack.
So I downgraded the touchscreen to get my system back. It worked. The second time, it didn’t updated anything. A message showed up stating that the “Update failed!”
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks !

It’s probably worth contacting A&H Support, I’m sure they’ll be able to help you out with the firmware update problems your having.
Here’s a link to their support page:

2012/11/17 at 11:42 pm #32121WolfgangParticipantI have no problems with my iDR48 and T112.
2012/11/18 at 5:34 pm #32129mikefoggParticipantGot the same problem on iDR-48 – Currently on 1.83 – tried upgrade and downgrade from USB and from Editor without success and the same error as in the screen shot shown in Nethanel’s post above. Surface upgrades and downgrades OK. Anyone found a solution?

2012/11/18 at 7:00 pm #32131mikefoggParticipantHi Musikhof,
Formatted USB stick
Fresh download from A&H
Extracted Firmware Dir
Copied Firmware Dir to the USB root
All Sub Dirs and Files copied across ok
Checked well over 100meg free on stick
Inserted USB stick into Surface (T80)
Surface sees v1.9 on the USB stick
Tried upgrade from Surface
Got similar error – “Update of Unit IDR48 V1.83 Failed”I’ll give A&H a call tomorrow.
Cheers,
Mike2012/11/18 at 9:12 pm #32132pealsoundParticipantHave you tried using the Network ports as the link between surface and rack as opposed to ACE?
IDR48 – T112 – Dante card
2012/11/18 at 9:30 pm #32133mikefoggParticipantHi pealsound
Yep – tried using network port just in case it was ACE interfering with tranfering file to IDR48. Same result unfortunately, but thanks for the suggestion.2012/11/19 at 3:53 pm #32152Berry-LavrijsenParticipantSame problem with Idr64 en T80.
only my touchsceen update’s
tried factory reset the console and rack, but no result.
Tried other usb stick, ace cable and tried to update the rack with a computer, all without result.Error Idr64 can’t update.
If someone already has a fix, please let me know.

In my particular case it seems I have an issue with the motherboard and it’s a back to A&H job for a repair.
Cheers,
