    Hi folks

    Just a sanity check…

We are running our GLD in two modes – Live and Dante.

In Live mode, all the inputs are patched from the audio racks with Direct Outs to Dante.

In Dante mode, all the inputs are patched from Dante.

At the moment we have this setup in two separate shows as I don’t think that you can configure IO and save it in a scene?

Ideally I’d like to have a ‘Dante’ scene (or even user with default Dante scene) that can be easily recalled from softkey to quickly switch between modes. Mainly the problem is that if a user loads the Dante show for virtual soundcheck and then forgets to switch back to the live show afterwards, a guest user can come along and not know why none of the inputs are working properly (defaults to last show).

    Cheers

You can switch the input patching only and have this stored in a scene – just edit the scenes ( Live and Dante playback) to only contain the patchbay. Store the Live scene with normal inputs and the Dante scene with Dante inputs feeding channels. All other settings will be then left alone. Makes using the virtual soundcheck very easy!

    Cheers
