Purchased my own CQ-18T as a freelance audio tech. So far I’ve deployed it on two corporate shows, and done a good bit of tinkering at home.
For its size, this console is so close to being perfect. On my last show my employer sent me out with a Yamaha TF3, but they were nice enough to let me use my CQ-18T instead. An upgrade in my opinion!
The only things I’m missing to feel comfortable deploying this system for larger/more in-depth shows are:
1. Mute groups!
2. Custom fader bank(s), and/or soft patching!
3. A physical fader hardware expansion that can be networked to the CQ, similar to the Behringer X-touch!!!!!
Hoping for the best from these requests, as I intend to use and promote this mixer as much as possible! So far I’ve converted one AV rental house to Allen & Heath with my CQ, and by telling them about the SQ series 🙏
