No Problem Warmie, I am in the same situation as yourself, USB connection on SQ is old school and definitely not stable with Mac setups imo.

I have looked at this a little deeper and found the following: https://community.allen-heath.com/forums/topic/catalina-and-dante-no

Audinate are really dragging their feet in getting an update on Dante Controller that works with Catalina. Seems the main problem is their end and they are fully aware if it.

    Hi

I have this exact same issue also, it happened once I installed Catalina. I didn’t have the network error message prior to Catalina and my recordings over dante were clear. I can only assume that this is a Catalina issue and nothing further, very frustrating!!

    Hi

Yes I have this exact same problem also, I have only noticed this since the last update. I haven’t plugged the usb out to resolve, I have restarted the app or daw and it is fine after that. This happens when I connect the mac to the SQ5, my mac is usually on already but the issue doesn’t occur all the time.

I am using a MacBook pro retina late 2013 running Mojave 10.14.4.

Thanks for the reply, I did try several things to clear the problem including going away from the screen and returning but nothing worked. Only resetting the desk cleared it in the end. Hopefully there will be a fix in the next update, its not a massive problem at all and yes the audio is unaffected.
