To the developers of the 1.8, it would have been smarter to put an option to validate or not the movement of the faders with the MCA. Sorry to tell you, but your choice is not comfortable at all, since there is more real visibility of the Mix when the faders are down! . Thank you for correcting this as soon as possible ..
Basically, the easiest way to handle all this without much development effort would be to implement a TeamVievwer solution in the Dlive. this to be useful at least in 2 cases.
– Assistance and Maintenance from the internet.
– In local mode, one could easily manage the multirack of a soundgrid or a recorder type REAPPER from the screen of the console!
Personally I would not mind paying a TeamViewer license to have these features!
On my PC (W7 SP1 32 bit), I had director 1.4, and no problems.
I uninstalled 1.4 to install director 1.5. And now it only works on windows X64 while you continue to install under program (x86) folder !!! .
The multirack is well included in my Digico SD8, 10 ( same group as A&H ) , an alternative solution exists for the PRO X of Midas, so why could not we suggest this to A & H on the console of the year 2017 !!

(Read, pause, skip Bwd, skip Fwb, record). It is very simple to realize since it is only links to existing functions.
