I’ve been asking this from the start! Would be so usefull…
an 8 out rack as well for IEM racks. All our wireless is in groups of 8 so something like this would really clean things up.

So we have finally received our new S7000 and our IP8s, But it doesn’t look like the faders “flip” to sends on faders when a mix is selected…
so this completely defeats the purpose of using IP8s for monitors…
And yes I have played with doing scenes but you have to manually change the fader for each output and input which means manually re-configuring 28 Auxes x 96 inputs = 2688 faders to manually reconfigure. that would take a month and is a completely ridiculous solution. plus if you want to change the layout a little it means completely redoing all the scenes and each aux.
Please A&H tell me there’s a better way so I didn’t just wast money on these things.

Hi, Will i be able to use a surface as one role for FOH, and use director in a different role with 2 IP8 wings for monitors?
I want to be able to have the mix buttons on the IP8 and not have them trigger a mix on the main surface.

+1 for OSC or some sort of API. Network midi is messy and hard to program… plus there’s a lot of extra functionality in remote control that is needed like remote surface shutdown

Probably the main thing would be keeping it consistent across the system, We currently have an iLive and I have used Dante for inserts with Waves Multirack, I know its better to do this with a waves card but was just using what we already have. I don’t need recording in 96, but we were using Dante for a monitor split as well as routing etc.
It’s really more about channel count, but I guess it might be better to look at a Waves card for recording and run waves SoundGrid, as well as a Dante card for other audio distribution. Just adds a bit of cost running both worlds…
Does anyone know if you can use Waves3 like Dante with a virtual soundcard for basic PC audio?

Thats really frustrating, I assumed this already existed…
Allen Heath have always been horrible at App development, they are always way behind and inconsistent.
To keep up with the competition they really need to get this sorted…
